The last time I photographed the wedding of a pilot to a lawyer, I thought this is as far apart as it can get about the couples professions.. until.. I meet another couple.. Vaishnavi is a lawyer and Mithun is a software engineer… isnt that interesting.. 🙂 I am sure going to write more about how they met, fell in love and decided to spend their lives together..
OK.. couple shoot… thats a great way for the couples to get themselves memoir, much different from the moments on the wedding day.
Cubbon park, a cool sunday morning, a beautiful couple, I with my cameras…; sounds good.. but…, I arrive here at 7:00am, find all gates are closed, there are more people here than Brigade road on weekends, the couple is on the other side of the park with no way to drive through to me… So as we begin calling each other to meet at some common place, I began to realize that there was some sort of marathon thingie happening and half the city was there.. Cant be worse… I meet them after about half hour of talking and walking everywhere… My annoyance about the way things started quickly vanishes as I see the play of light and shadows. Its almost heavenly. I quickly get started and it just gets better with every image.. We have a great shoot for the next few hours. After we are done, I walk back to my car and think, we had a bad start… but… who cares.. 🙂 we had fun… and some nice pictures.. Big thanks to Vaishnavi & Mithun for the beautiful pictures and bearing with the starting trouble and Nirmalya for his help with the lights…
