Laasya+Anil: Pre Wedding

Laasya and Anil are both multi talented doctors. Laasya is also a Kathak dancer and Anil has played for his university cricket team. It was very hard for our super busy couple to take time out for the couple session. Just two days to their big day, they managed to steal some time on a Friday. We set out for Elements resort off Kanakapura road that morning. We stopped by at a MTR which is on route to Elements resort and is less than a kilometer. The resort is a beautiful place and we were lucky there were no other guests that day. We started the shoot after a quick location scout. Resorts generally offer a room and is a good idea for couples who want to change dresses between the shoot. These are ofcourse not free. We were charged 6K for 6 hours which included a small room with a washroom. Very basic but it served the purpose.

I was getting a lot of great pictures of our beautiful couple and we just went on for the next 4+ hours without realizing it. It was a wonderful shoot and big thanks to the couple and my assistant Ravi for keeping up the energy. 🙂

A bit of first hand experience report of the resort to help others planning a visit. We had seen pictures of the resort on their FB page before visiting and it seemed like more of a wedding destination. There were small water bodies in the pictures but to our surprise, there were none when we visited. Prehaps they fill the shallow pools with water only for a function. There is no pool or large water body anywhere on the property. There is no food and not even water to drink so make your own arrangements. The ‘elements’ of Elements resort like a outdoor party area with sofas, cushions, chairs etc was in an almost dilapidated state. The sofa was broken, cushions and mattresses torn and no covers. I made sure the photos were shot such as not to show these problems. But if you are expecting to use these elements, you may be disappointed. Besides this, the greenery and lawns were very well maintained.
