I was referred to Nandan by his friend and colleague, Satyam.  I had done Satyam and Deepika’s pre-wedding session 3 years earlier and they had loved the experience. Its very heartening to see a referral coming even after so many years. It just reinforces my belief in my work 🙂

Nandan is a photographer himself and we discussed a lot more details about the expectations than I would normally do. Swathi loves getting beautiful pictures clicked of hers and Nandan is ofcourse the one to do it. Which, he said always puts him behind the camera. And that obviously wasnt going to work for a couple shoot.

The couple decided on Lalbagh and we were there early morning the following weekend. Nandan’s friend Sanjay was accompanying them and he was really helpful with stuff and also throwing a few different ideas for the shoot. We were getting great pictures and shot for more than 4 hours that day with a couple of costume changes in between. We had a large number of props this time but I personally loved the masquerade that Swathi put on. I got some amazing shots of her with it. Something quite different from all my previous shoots. The couple had a wonderful chemistry and this helped a lot as the poses are that much natural and the couple has a fun time simultaneously. I was showing them the images from time to time, on the back of my camera and they were getting the right feedback helping them relax.

Nandan had set a mood for the shoot and wanted the pics to look bright, airy and dreamy. We did finally manage to get his dream fulfilled that day 🙂 Big thanks Swathi and Nandan and special thanks to Sanjay for being patient with us 🙂
